Big Dreams

The Big Dreams is a single-fin longboard from Thomas Surfboards with a glider-style outline. It was designed for big, clean, juicy waves but the maker notes it also performs well in small surf, having been used in conditions ranging from 2-foot Noosa to 10-foot Bells. The outline has a wide point set 5-6 inches forward of centre, which allows the rider to bottom turn from further up the board. It features a pulled-in pin tail for hold through long, carving rail turns, and a speed-shape nose designed to reduce wind impact and catching rail. Bottom contours run from a subtle roll through to a slight panel V. It is offered in lengths from 9'1" to 9'11" with volumes from 63.7L to 81.3L, and is described as suitable for all levels of surfers.
