S Twin

The S Twin is a fish-style shortboard shaped by Timmy Patterson, built around a round nose Sherman fish outline with a single wing swallowtail. The tail block is pulled in tightly, letting the wider outline still transition onto rail quickly while holding drive and speed. The bottom has a slight single concave fading into vee off the tail, which helps the board roll onto rail in soft, gutless conditions. Rocker is kept low to maintain speed through flat sections. It's designed mainly for smaller, mushier surf, though some riders use it year-round. Patterson designed it to be ridden with a twin fin plus a small trailer center fin. Riders can vary their approach to sizing, choosing a longer board with more volume or going shorter while packing in more volume, depending on preference.
