The White Tiger is a stubby, short-outline board in Pyzel's Funformance range, built for average to below-average, weak and flatter wave conditions. It has a full nose, wide squash tail, no hip, and a wide point 1.5 inches forward of center, with the tail slightly wider than the nose. Volume is concentrated forward via a beak-nose design to aid paddling, paired with a relatively flat deck and tapered rails. Rocker is medium-low through nose and tail for glide and speed on weak waves. The bottom uses a single/double concave through the front two-thirds transitioning to a vee/double concave through the fins and tail. Pyzel recommends riding it 2-5 inches shorter than a standard shortboard, with 0.5-1 inch more width and added volume. It is available in Thruster, Quad, and 5-fin setups. The model originated as a side-project board for John John Florence, was refined for his brother Ivan Florence, and has since become one of John Florence's boards for recreational surfing away from competition.

Surfed this once for a short session, just loved it. It was the board of the local surf instructor (we're both big boys). Super easy to catch waves, good drive and just got up and went. I just clicked with this shape and thruster.
I bought a DHD Black Diamond 6'6 – 44L after riding this. I felt this board was a little too floaty, but you could ride this size and catch lots of waves!
