The GTX is LSD Surfboards' more approachable take on their GT high-performance shortboard. It has a slightly wider outline and proportionally more volume than the GT, keeping high-performance capability while being more user-friendly for everyday surfers. A round-tail variation is favored by some of the brand's team riders in bigger, more powerful waves for extra control and hold.
