Bobby Quad

The Bobby Quad is a short, high-performance quad-fin shortboard developed with Channel Islands team rider Bobby Martinez for small, weak summer surf in Santa Barbara. It features a low entry rocker into a flat planing surface for speed through flat sections, a generous double concave with added exit rocker for lift, and a modified swallow tail with extra width for hold in quick direction changes. Channel Islands recommends riding it 3"–6" shorter and 1/4"–1/2" wider than a standard shortboard, run with quad fins.
