THE MAJESTIC

The Majestic is a longboard model from Bing Surfboards derived from the earlier Bing Pipeliner, a Dick Brewer/Bing Copeland design. The shaper kept the Pipeliner's outline, foil, rail line and nose configuration, but altered the bottom contour to a pronounced double concave with V running off the tail, and changed the tail rail to a crisp downrail. These changes are described as making the board more maneuverable than its outline suggests, while retaining a continuous, flowing rail line from nose to tail. The manufacturer states it is not a noserider, distinguishing it from other Bing longboards in the same general category (Glider, Spoiler), being slightly narrower, thinner and more foiled than those models. It is described as suited to clean, smooth, down-the-line surfing with added maneuverability, and as functional in a range of wave sizes. Manufacturer size chart lists lengths from 9'0" to 11'0", with width and thickness increasing with length.
