The Seeker is a mid-length surfboard designed by Matt Calvani, head shaper at Bing Surfboards. It has a high-volume, flat deck and bottom with a medium fold-down rail, a wider nose creating a more parallel outline for drive and speed, and increased rocker in the last foot of the nose to handle late take-offs. The squash tail adds surface area for stability and early wave-catching, while a slight lift and double concave in the tail add sensitivity and release in turns. It is built to work in both mushy and steeper, bigger wave conditions. It comes in a 2+1 fin configuration, with a single-fin option also used by Bing's factory and retail team riders. Sizes range from 7'2" to 8'6" (86"-102"), with volumes from 49.8L to 64.7L. The design is intended to bridge longboard and shortboard characteristics, aiming to make wave-catching easier while retaining maneuverability.
