The Collector is a mini-noserider model designed by Matt Calvani for Bing Surfboards, built primarily as a mid-range board for a broad range of surfing styles. It was originally shaped as a quad but was found to also produce strong noserides, leading to a design that supports multiple fin setups. The board features a shallow nose concave that rolls into a heavy double concave through the tail, with an average nose width of 18 inches and average tail width of 15.125 inches. It is offered with a 4+1 fin box configuration, allowing it to be ridden as a quad, a 2+1, or a single fin. The quad setup suits quick direction changes and pocket surfing, the 2+1 setup adds drive and control for hard turns, and the single fin setup allows classic high-line riding and noseriding. The most popular size range is 7'4" to 7'10", and the model spans lengths from 6'6" to 8'6" with volumes from 39L to 67.2L.
