The California Pintail Type 2 is Bing's pintail version of the California Square Type 2, designed for California point breaks, reefs, and beach breaks. A long, gradual tail rocker starting from the board's middle increases wetted surface for control and speed, while a pulled-in tail, rolled bottom, and soft pinched 50/50 rail combine cruising and noseriding ability in slower surf with responsiveness in steeper waves. Widths and thicknesses run low compared to other Bing models, making it more approachable.
